Hello;
I am a experimental artist living and working in a small town in northwest Wisconsin. I have been painting for 40 years, and professionally for 30. I have my work in 5 galleries at present, and have had many one woman shows. I teach workshops in watermedia and collage.
I find it difficult to find outlets for my art, and usually have to create them myself. I and 4 other artists have had a cooperative gallery in the summertime. We live in a summer tourist area, but our local art tastes tend to be toward wildlife art, which I do not do.
My recent work is abstracted, and/or non-objective. I started with pretty little landscapes, barns, winter, flowers, etc. I have gone through many phases, and expect that I will continue to do so as I continue to work.
